The best fresh water fishing in Panama is in the Panama Canal (Gatun Lake). Hard to believe this path that unites the oceans is the opportunity you're looking for to have a fishing adventure. This half-day tour starts with 6:30 am pick-ups, and a drive to the U.S Canal Zone town of Gamboa.  Fishing takes place in Gatun Lake, the artificial man-made navigation channel elevated 85 feet (26m) above sea level that unites the Pacific and the Atlantic in trade and commerce but also unites man with nature in a sustainable way.

We'll cruise next to the transiting ships and go off to side channels best for catching Snook, Tilapia, Peacock Bass and Tarpon but also to observe wildlife. We’ll fish around the Monkey Islands (Isla Akee, Isla Barbacoa, and Isla San Pablo) unique for bio-diversity. Our trip includes Water, Snacks, Beverages, bait and equipment. You have the option to catch and release and to have your fish for lunch; the Gamboa dock has locals who can prepare your catch with patacones (fried plantains) (Price not included)*.

Gatun Lake of the Panama Canal guarantees a Kingfisher experience you can't miss.

Drop-offs are 1:30 pm approx.
